Starring Samridhii Shukla, Shehzada Dhami, Pratiksha Homnukhe, Shivam Khajuria and others, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been running successfully for almost 15 years now. Having started the journey with Hina Khan and Karan Mehra, the Rajan Shahi production is not only one of the most-watched shows in India, but it also often tops the weekly BARC ratings. In the last few episodes, it is seen that Armaan and Abhira promise to not be husband and wife. The Poddars refuse to accept Abhira as their daughter-in-law.

Today’s episode starts with Armaan convincing Dadi to give Abhira a chance. He tells her how Abhira isn’t his mistake but his responsibility. As Armaan stands up for Abhira and persuades Dadi and Sanjay, Madhav overhears everything and feels proud of his son. Everyone gets messages on the phone, Sanjay opens the notification and sees the news of Armaan’s marriage. As he is getting praised, Dadi gets angry seeing the news. Vidya shares how they should now host Abhira’s muh dikhai ceremony. Dadi angrily aggrees. Abhira sits studying. She feels hungry and Armaa brings noodles for her. As he pacifies her, Abhira cries and tells him that she misses her mother, Mussoorie, and their home. 


Abhira eats the food after Armaan convinces her and she asks for more. She tells him to have some as well since even he is hungry. They talk and share how different they are. Armaan then goes to Ruhi and confesses everything to her. He pleads with her and asks her to be her friend. Abhira notices everyone standing at the door peeking at her. Vidya gives Armaan clothes for the muh dikhayi ceremony. 

Armaan goes to Abhira and convinces her to come downstairs. Dadi gets happy after seeing Ruhi coming down with her face covered. As the episode comes to an end, everyone hears Abhira shouting and telling Armaan that she will not come downstairs. In the next episode, it will be seen that Abhira and Ruhi will be dancing. However, Abhira’s saree comes off and Armaan rushes to help her. Dadi says Abhira has disrespected their name.
